We are excited to offer whole lamb shares of our pasture raised Icelandic lamb. Fill your freezer with local, sustainably and ethically raised meat for the winter! Lamb will be ready around the first week of November for pick- up at the farm.
Reserve now with a non-refundable $100 deposit per lamb. Balance will be due at pick-up. Cash, check or venmo preferred for balance.
Cost:
$10/lb hanging weight + $100 butcher fee
Hanging weights are typically between 35 – 40 lbs and you should receive around 30-35 lbs of meat, depending on the cuts you choose. This number is for all bone-in cuts. If you choose boneless cuts or a lot of stew and/or ground the weight you receive will be different. But even with boneless cuts don’t pass up getting those bones back! They make great stock, gravy or dog treats. Flavored sauasage and smoking are additional costs. We are happy to help if you have any questions while deciding on cuts.
Example:
35 lb hanging weight = $350 + $100 butcher fee = $450
~30 lbs of meat back (including bones) = ~$15/lb + any organs you’d like back
With the purchase of a lamb share, you receive a 10% discount on sheepskins and the option to have first pick of them when they are available.
LAMB SHARES ARE FOR LOCAL PICK UP ONLY AND CANNOT BE SHIPPED. PLEASE SELECT FARM PICK UP AT CHECKOUT. DUE TO LIMITED FREEZER SPACE WE ARE UNABLE TO HOLD LAMB SHARES FOR MORE THAN 1 WEEK ONCE BACK FROM THE BUTCHER.
